FOXO4-DRI
FOXO4-DRI is a lab-made peptide studied as a senolytic, a compound meant to clear out senescent cells.
We have not published an audit on FOXO4-DRI. Everything below is reference material, not our own reading of the literature, treat it as a starting point for questions, not as a grade.
How it is thought to work
Disrupts the FOXO4-p53 interaction so p53 can trigger apoptosis in senescent cells. [Source: Peptide Dosing Protocols]
FOXO4-DRI is a specially engineered peptide that blocks a protein interaction inside old, damaged (senescent) cells, freeing the cell's own self-destruct machinery (p53) to kill those cells. It has only been studied in mice and cell cultures, no human trials exist as of June 2026.
Reported side effects
No human side effects have been documented because FOXO4-DRI has never been tested in people; theoretical concerns include off-target cell death, immune stress from clearing dying cells, impaired wound healing, and injection-site reactions such as redness and swelling.
Who should avoid it
Anyone who is not conducting formal animal research should avoid FOXO4-DRI, as it has never been tested in humans and carries theoretical risks including off-target cell death, impaired wound healing, and unknown immune burden.
What gets monitored
Useful markers for senescence biology include hs-CRP, IL-6, and IGF-1, alongside a comprehensive metabolic panel. [Source: Peptide Dosing Protocols]
What sources report
These are figures published elsewhere, reproduced with their source. Peppersite does not recommend an amount for FOXO4-DRI or for anything else, and nothing below has been checked against the study it came from.

Common questions
What is FOXO4-DRI?
FOXO4-DRI is a synthetic D-retro-inverso peptide studied as a senolytic, designed to selectively clear senescent cells.
What is FOXO4-DRI used for in research?
It is investigated mainly for cellular senescence and aging.
How is FOXO4-DRI dosed?
The only published dosing protocol is from mouse studies: 5 mg/kg by intraperitoneal injection.
How do you reconstitute a 10 mg FOXO4-DRI vial?
Adding 3.0 mL of bacteriostatic water to a 10 mg vial gives about 3.33 mg/mL.
Check 10 mg in 3 mL in the calculator →Is there a FOXO4-DRI dosage chart?
Yes, this guide includes a community-derived 16-week daily dosing ladder.
What are the side effects of FOXO4-DRI?
There are no documented human side effects because it has not been tested in people.
Are there any FOXO4-DRI human trials?
No, as of June 2026 there are no completed or registered human clinical trials for FOXO4-DRI.
Is FOXO4-DRI FDA approved or legal?
FOXO4-DRI is not FDA approved and has no approved human indication.
