Humanin is a rare peptide made by mitochondria that helps protect cells from dying by blocking a key cell-death protein and activating survival signals; its lab-made version HNG works the same way but is more stable and potent.
Reported side effects
The most commonly reported effects are injection-site redness or discomfort, mild fatigue, occasional headache, and transient nausea at higher doses, though all of this comes from anecdotal community reports rather than human clinical trials.
Who should avoid it
People with active or recent cancer, pregnancy, children, those on insulin or blood-sugar-lowering drugs, those with active autoimmune or inflammatory disease, and anyone without access to qualified medical oversight or sterile injection conditions should avoid humanin and HNG.
